Theme and topics

The noble Surah speaks at the beginning about the unbeliever who denies the Last Day. It is the Day of Resurrection and described him as rebuking and reproving the orphan, and that he does not urge to feed the poor and needy, so he does not do what pleases his Lord, nor does he bestow good on people, so there is no good on him for anyone.

At the end of the noble Surah, the hypocrite is mentioned. The hypocrite is known as one who professes Islam and harbors disbelief. Among his characteristics mentioned in the Surah are: boasting about good deeds, abandoning prayer and preventing help, i.e. preventing him from what people need from him and borrowing from him to fulfill a need for them. The hypocrite does not do righteous deeds out of obedience to God, but to fool people.

The noble surah speaks of the threat of torment and destruction for the disbelievers and the hypocrites.
