Theme and topics

The main theme of the sura is to motivate Muslims to make not only material but also financial sacrifices to help strengthen and secure the Islamic state.

The theme of this sura is to urge Muslims to donate in the way of God, especially during the most critical period in the history of Islam during the struggle against paganism.
This sura was revealed to encourage Muslims to make financial sacrifices in particular, and to make them realize that Islam is not limited to external practices, but that its essence and spirit is devotion to God and His religion.
The sura also speaks of the fact that in the hereafter, only the believers who spend their money in the way of God will enjoy the light. As for the hypocrites who had only their own interests in mind and did not care about the supremacy of right and wrong, their punishment in the hereafter will be the reward for what they did.
