History of surah The Sovereignty

Name

Surah Al-Mulk was given this name because of the mention of the conditions of the kingdom of God Almighty, and God Almighty mentioned in it the conditions of the universe and man and the wonders of His creation, and that everything in this vast universe is the property of God Almighty

Period of Revelation

It is the seventy-sixth in the series of revelations of suras. It was revealed after Surat al-Mu'minin and before Surat al-Haqqah, and commentators believe that it was revealed in the middle of the Meccan era.
It was revealed about the polytheists who whispered to harm the Messenger Muhammad -peace and blessings be upon him- and they used to say to each other: ( Conceal your words so that the God of Muhammad will not hear your words).

Theme and topics

The sura speaks about the subject of faith, and what came in it of important issues related to the proof of the unity of God Almighty and His ability to resurrect the creation and death, and His power over it, and it came with a lot of proofs and evidences that God Almighty is one and has no partner, and the sura also spoke about the reward of the liars who denied resurrection and publication.
