Name

The Surah Al-Insan received this name because of the mention made at the beginning of the noble Surah, in which the human being was mentioned

Period of Revelation

'The audience went on to say that Surah Al-Insan is a Meccan surah and the number of its verses reaches thirty-one, and the seventy-sixth surah is according to the Quranic drawing, and its arrangement is according to the order of the revelation of the surahs, so it is the thirtieth or thirty-first surah, since it was revealed before Surah Al-Qiyamah

Theme and topics

This sura, despite its brevity, has profound, varied and comprehensive content, and at a glance it can be divided into five sections:

The first section: talks about the creation of man and his creation from a (mixed) sperm, as well as his guidance and freedom of will.
The second section: the discussion revolves around the reward of the righteous and the righteous.
The third section: repeats the discussion of the evidence that the righteous deserves this reward, in short and poignant sentences.
The fourth section: refers to the meaning of the Quran, the way to apply its rules, and the arduous method of self-education.
Fifth section: in it, there is talk of the dominion of the divine will (over man).
