History of surah Sincerity

Name
It is named in most of the Qur’ans and in most of the interpretations, and in “Jami Al-Tirmidhi”: “Surat Al-Ikhlas." This name became famous for its abbreviation and the combination of the meanings of this surah, because it teaches people the sincerity of worshiping God Almighty.
Period of Revelation
It is one of the Meccan surahs that were revealed to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah here was a weak hadith about that: “The polytheists said to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: O Muhammad, ascribe to us your Lord.” So God, the Blessed and Exalted, revealed the surah

A proof of the unity of God, the Creator, praised be He.
it denied any polytheism in the presence of God Almighty; it denied that God Almighty has a peer or partner
It contained the main pillars of religion and Sharia; it spoke about monotheism, which is the essence of religion
